Everyone has a story to share. And this video commissioned by Chick-fil-A captures that idea elegantly:
Sometimes we get so caught up in sharing our own story, we forget that everyone else has a story too.
In addition to making me want to be more gentle with the people around me, this film also makes me want to work for Chick-fil-A!
What do you think about it?
Thanks so much for posting this video, Melanie. We heard Dan Cathy (hope I have his name correct) last spring at Trinity Christian College and saw this video. So powerful. We also loved hearing about how he trains employees, teaching them to treat customers with dignity and respect–small big things, like pulling out their chairs or opening doors. I had the same feeling, what a wonderful place to work! After seeing this video, I have never looked at people in a crowd or in public, for that matter, in the same way.
Thanks for sharing that, Ann. I actually keep a file of places I think I would like to work for—and Chick-fil-A is definitely going in that file!
Good stuff! It reminded me of an interesting video I just watched along the same theme. It’s an entertaining watch:

Thanks Nathan. I was not familiar with TEDx, but I love TED videos!
