At the end of June I spent a week with my family, vacationing on Florida’s gulf coast. Turns out, we were there the same time Tropical Storm Debby was. Though the local papers carried a number of stories of destruction further inland, on the beach we were unaware of much danger. For us, the storm brought a wide variety of weather, which made for an interesting and beautiful week:

Thanks Ann! At first I was disappointed because we didn’t have too many nice sunsets during this trip. But the skies were often beautiful in the late afternoons, long before sunset, and I probably had never really appreciated that before.
