Imagine the depth of content available in a book like this!

I read on the nook and I like it but I hesitate to buy history books because the maps are all but worthless in ebook form. It would be great to have maps that you could zoom in on and maybe a click on a certain point would take you to the related text. Exciting stuff.
Thanks.
That’s a good point, Angus. I have no idea what’s involved technologically in creating a book like this, but I appreciate the fact that it takes a lot of work, a lot of research, and a lot of creativity. As much as I love self-publishing, I recognize that there are now millions of books available whose authors have not put enough work into researching, writing, or proofreading them. But I suppose the democracy of the internet will keep such books from gaining votes (dollars).
